The Philosopher CEO | Clay Co-Founder Kareem Amin

Long Strange Trip: CEO to CEO with Brian Halligan · · 1:09:28

Kareem Amin recalls imagining how he would share his retreat experiences at home—and losing attention to the place he was in. He describes being grateful for boredom as an experience of being present, and says carrying that awareness into daily life can help him make less rushed decisions. He argues that a company should align what it actually does, what its founders want it to do, and what customers value.

原始摘录

原始摘录

And then I try to carry that with me. I think it actually leads you to make better decisions that are less rushed, less confused about, like, the nature of what’s happening.

Align company activity with customer value

原始摘录

Anyway, I think you should be really clear about what your company actually is doing versus what you want it to do or think that it should do versus what your customers actually are getting value from.

And those things need to align.
