Research questions

To generate an answer, nafyi sends your question and relevant interview passages to its AI model provider. Recent answers may be cached on our server for reuse. Model usage records contain request identifiers, model names, token counts and timing.

Questions can appear in the page URL and browser history. A copied research link may contain the question, so share only information you intend others to read.

Anonymous product measurement

When analytics is enabled, nafyi records page views and research actions using a random session identifier. The session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity and is kept in the current tab’s session storage. We do not create a persistent advertising identifier.

Attribution records may include validated campaign labels, an external referrer hostname, the entry page category and language. Full referrer URLs, search questions, email addresses and arbitrary fields are not accepted by the analytics endpoint. A question fingerprint used to recognize a retry stays in your browser.

Product analytics respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Missing referrers are recorded as direct or unknown; a referral classification does not prove that an AI system cited nafyi.

Hosting and AI providers process requests to deliver the service and may keep their own operational logs. Aggregate reports describe sessions and actions, rather than identified people.

Google Analytics

When Google Analytics is enabled, Google processes site visits and research actions and may use analytics cookies. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control prevent this website from loading the Google tag.

Our Google Analytics events include the page category, language and validated research actions. Page URLs omit query strings and fragments, page titles use generic categories, and referrers are restricted to their origin. We do not send research questions, interview text, email addresses or our internal session and research identifiers in these events.

Public source material

Interview passages, speaker names, publication dates and source links are public research material. Translations and summaries are labeled reading aids; original publishers retain their rights.
